Overview

The 2010 Accord Coupe is a 2-door, 5-passenger family coupe or sports coupe, available in LX-S, EX, EX-L and EX-L V-6 trims with manual and automatic transmissions. Mainly a carryover model from 2009, the 2010 Accord Coupe is designed to exceed expectations with premium technology, increased power and a spacious interior, while retaining fun-to-drive characteristics and an innovative feel.

Power and performance

Two powerful engines are available - a 190-horsepower 4-cylinder engine is standard on all the trims, while a 271-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine is available on EX-L. The 4-cylinder models offer a quick-shifting 5-speed manual transmission or an available 5-speed automatic transmission. In the Accord EX-L V6, a 5-speed automatic transmission is standard and a close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission is the available option. The LX-S, EX and EX-L models equipped with 5-speed manual transmission deliver 22/31 and EX-L V-6 with 6-speed manual transmission yields 17/25 city/highway mpg. Similarly the fuel economy figures for 5-speed automatic transmission models stand at 21/31 and 19/28 city/highway mpg respectively*.

Body and styling

The Accord Coupe rolls on 17-inch aluminum wheels and features four-wheel disc brakes. The interior provides attainable luxury with generous standard equipment, world-class ergonomics and intuitive vehicle controls. The available premium features include the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation1 System with Voice Activation and XM Radio. The front seats are designed to provide generous lateral support and complement the Accord's sporty side. The fold-down, lockable rear seatback increases cargo-carrying versatility and also includes a lockable pass-through for long items like snow skis. The 2010 Honda Accord lineup receives new features on certain models with an expanded application of Bluetooth HandsFreeLink to vehicles equipped with leather seating surfaces and new rear seat ventilation ducts on Accord Sedan EX and EX-L models for more-direct rear passenger airflow. Subtle modifications include graphically optimized climate control buttons and the addition of a trunk roof lining on Accord EX models.
