What is happening with the 2027 Civic
The eleventh-generation Civic was refreshed for 2025, when the hybrid arrived in both sedan and hatchback form. Nothing since then has disturbed that formula. Honda has not published a 2027 model-year announcement with pricing or EPA numbers, and outlets tracking the car, including Edmunds and Autoblog, expect a carryover on the same platform with at most small feature or pricing adjustments.
One change is confirmed. In July 2026 Honda announced that Civic Si production pauses at the end of the 2026 model year, with the Si returning to the lineup in the coming years. If you want a six-speed manual Si, the 2026 cars on dealer lots now are the ones to look at.

Recent Civic news worth knowing
The Civic has kept collecting hardware. U.S. News named the Civic hybrid Best Compact Hybrid Car in its 2026 hybrid and electric awards in April 2026, singling out the mix of pace, space and economy. Edmunds gave the Civic hybrid its Top Rated award for 2026, the fourth time the eleventh-generation car has taken that honor, and The Drive named it Best Value for 2026.
