Directions from Borough Park to Plaza Honda

We are at 2740 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11210, between Kings Highway and Avenue R, under four miles east of Borough Park.

The straight one: Avenue J

Come south to Avenue J and follow it east through Midwood, across Ocean Avenue and Flatbush, to Nostrand Avenue. Turn south and you are a few blocks away. Usually 15 to 20 minutes.

The wide one: Kings Highway

Take 18th Avenue or Ocean Parkway southeast to Kings Highway, then east to Nostrand. More lanes than Avenue J, but slower on Sunday afternoons when the shopping strip fills up.

From the north end: Church Avenue & Avenue H

From the 30s and 40s, take Fort Hamilton Parkway or Coney Island Avenue south, then Avenue H or Foster Avenue east to Nostrand. A quieter run than the main corridors.

The parkway route

Ocean Parkway south to the Belt Parkway eastbound, then exit at Flatbush Avenue (Exit 11N). Head north on Flatbush and turn left onto Nostrand Avenue. Worth it when the surface streets are backed up.

Getting here by bus and train

The B11 runs east along Avenue J and crosses Nostrand Avenue a short walk from the showroom — one bus, no transfer. From the southern end of the neighborhood, the B82 runs east along Kings Highway to the same corner. By subway, the F to Kings Highway puts you on the B82 eastbound.
