Directions from Canarsie to Plaza Honda

We are at 2740 Nostrand Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11210, between Kings Highway and Avenue R, about four miles west of Canarsie.

The straight one: Kings Highway

Take Rockaway Parkway or Ralph Avenue north to Kings Highway, then west through East Flatbush to Nostrand Avenue. Usually 12 to 18 minutes outside of rush hour.

The wide one: Flatlands Avenue

Flatlands Avenue runs west from Canarsie across Flatbush Avenue to Nostrand. Turn south on Nostrand and follow it down past Avenue M to the showroom.

The parkway route

Rockaway Parkway south to the Belt Parkway westbound, then exit at Flatbush Avenue (Exit 11N). Head north on Flatbush and turn left onto Nostrand Avenue. Best when the surface streets are backed up.

From Starrett City & Spring Creek

Flatlands Avenue or Seaview Avenue west, then Kings Highway or Avenue U. Add five to ten minutes from the far east end of the neighborhood.

Getting here by bus and train

The B82 runs west along Kings Highway from the Canarsie end and crosses Nostrand Avenue a short walk from our door — one bus, no transfer. The B6 covers the northern side of the neighborhood along Glenwood Road and Avenue J and crosses Nostrand as well. From the L at Rockaway Parkway, the B82 picks up nearby.
